Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and Review Course

About the Exam

The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination is available to current Mines seniors in ABET-accredited engineering programs (including Engineering Physics) who are within 12 months of receiving their bachelor’s degree. Those who complete both the exam and their engineering degree program successfully are issued an Engineer Intern certification by the Colorado State Board of Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.

Graduate students may also take the exam.

About the Review Course

SPRING 2024 FE REVIEW SESSIONS

FE review sessions will be held over the course of two weekends this Spring starting mid-April. 2-hour sessions running from 10 am to 5 pm, with an hour break for lunch will be held highlighting different exam topics such as Calculus, Engineering Economics and Probability/Statistics. This course is not intended to replace individual study and preparation for the exam; rather, it is another resource in your pursuit of licensure.

FE review is free for current Mines seniors and full-time graduate students. Others are welcome to attend the course for a tax-deductible fee of $250. Non-Mines students can sign up for the session here: Registration and Payment – CSM FE Review
